As you know, we are looking for sponsors to help with the project of summer camp this summer. We'd like to take youth again who are
curious about their future, and ready to listen to what God has to say about it. We have currently 29 sponsorships for these youth, and are looking for 36 more, for a total of 65. These youth are from the Casa Ray, Elena Doamna & Ion Creanga Orphanages, and villages of Garcina Negresti, and from our church. The camp is in the mountains 2 hrs north of us, and the theme will be "God Cares for You."
Last week, there was a youth evangelism in our town and to our surprise, 95 youth attended. It was put on by Luis Palau team of evangelists and hosted by the Christian churches. Lucian went along with some youth we know, and was available for discussions during the event. Some were only slightly interested, but some were listening and had some questions. This shows the need this generation has for social activity, and curiosity some have in learning about God. We pray this camp can meet the needs as well, providing answers and some support.
